Madison, Wis.-based RMT WindConnect has expanded its wind energy site development services team with the addition of Daniel Clausen, Richard Zellmer and Katharine Penning.
‘The addition of Dan, Richard and Katharine will allow us to expand the front-end development services that WindConnect provides,’ says Frank Greb, vice president and general manager of WindConnect. ‘Their commitment to our team speaks volumes about the important work we do in helping our clients balance their energy and environmental needs to secure sites for wind energy facility construction.’
Clausen and Zellmer have joined the WindConnect team as senior project managers. In this role, they will focus on high-grading sites for wind energy development for WindConnect's clients. Penning comes on board as a renewable energy specialist, with responsibility for evaluating wind energy potential.
Zellmer brings to the team an extensive financial background, which includes previous positions as managing partner at several investment firms, as well as work in developing and negotiating wind energy projects at Southcap Farms in west Texas.
Penning joins WindConnect from a large environmental consulting firm, where she worked as a project engineer and lead designer with a focus on sustainability and renewable resources.
