Canada-based Schneider Power Inc. (SPI) has appointed Mathieu Archambault to the senior management team as head of energy projects.
Archambault joins SPI from Montreal-based Helimax Energy Inc., a wind energy consulting firm, where he led a team of consultants involved in the analysis, engineering, meteorology and environmental science for over 3,000 MW of utility-scale wind energy projects.
‘We are delighted to have attracted a high-caliber professional like Mathieu Archambault to head up our energy projects department at Schneider Power,’ says Bernd Schneider, chairman of SPI. ‘His experience and reputation will add significant depth to our management team.’
In his role at SPI, Archambault will assume control of all aspects of the company's North American upstream renewable energy portfolio. This includes managing all greenfield project developments, feasibility, wind assessments, interconnection and post-development realization and construction management.
