SkyPower has announced the addition of Michael Belcher to the company as director of strategic lands. In his new role, Belcher will support SkyPower's initiatives for sustainable development across Canada.
Belcher brings over 30 years of experience working within the government of Ontario with a focus on land management. Belcher managed the Wind Resource Atlas Project and was involved in the development of policy for renewable energy projects within the ministry of natural resources. Belcher also represented the government on the industry-led Ontario Wind Power Task Force and was a member of the selection committee during the initial release of requests for proposals by the ministry of energy to renewable energy companies.
