Toronto-based Schneider Power Inc. has appointed Jeremy Rakusin to its board of directors. Rakusin is a vice president and portfolio manager at Trapeze Capital Corp., a discretionary investment firm, where he is responsible for co-managing the LionRock Managed Equity Portfolio.
Previously, he worked in investment banking for nine years, including as a director of mergers and acquisitions at Merrill Lynch & Co. He began his career as a corporate and securities lawyer at Goodmans.
‘Mr. Rakusin's capital markets expertise and experience in advising small, high-growth companies will be extremely beneficial as we evaluate and execute on our growth opportunities of the future,’ says Schneider CEO Jonathan Lundy.
Rakusin earned degrees from the University of Toronto and is also a holder of the chartered financial analyst designation.
