Barre, Vt.-based Northern Power Systems Inc. has appointed John P. Danner president and CEO.
Danner brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to Northern Power and was previously president and CEO of Codon Devices, a privately held biotechnology company. Earlier in his career, he served as an officer on a U.S. Navy nuclear submarine and was a Department of Energy-qualified engineer for a 148 MW S6G nuclear power plant.
Danner has a degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
