Nordic Windpower Ltd., a manufacturer of wind turbines with offices in Sweden and California, has announced that Prakash Ramachandran, a finance expert in growth-oriented technology businesses and international markets, has joined the company as chief financial officer (CFO) and member of its board of directors.
‘I am excited to be working with the excellent management team at Nordic Windpower, and particularly now, as it scales production,’ says Ramachandran. ‘Nordic has the team, cost-competitive and reliable technology, and sound backing from Goldman Sachs to lead in a booming global wind energy market.’
Ramachandran has more than 20 years of experience in high-level finance with rapidly growing technology companies in the U.S. and internationally. Most recently, he was CFO at Novariant Inc., a supplier of GPS-based machine control products for industrial markets.
Ramachandran has a master's degree in management from Stanford Business School, Sloan fellows program.
