Carpinteria, Calif.-based Clipper Windpower Inc. has appointed John A. Lamb as president and CEO of the company's development division.

Prior to joining Clipper, Lamb acted as special corporate legal counsel for a number of Clipper's high-profile transactions, including the Titan joint venture transaction, which represents more than 5,000 MW of wind energy development capacity.
Previously, Lamb was employed in a private legal practice, where he represented wind power developers and other entities involved in the wind power industry. He received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University, and a Juris Doctor and master's of business taxation degrees from the University of Southern California.
