PPM Energy and Iberdrola Renewable Energies USA have named Susan Reilly executive vice president, with particular focus on power business activities for the company in the U.S. and Canada. She will be based in Portland, Ore.

A member of ScottishPower's executive team, and most recently director responsible for ScottishPower's strategy and development, Reilly brings extensive experience to her new role. Her prior experiences include heading the ScottishPower wind business from 1999 to 2005. Prior to joining ScottishPower, Reilly was with PricewaterhouseCoopers and also worked on mergers and acquisitions with various organizations for several years.

The company has also named Don Furman senior vice president for development transmission and policy, and Rany Raviv vice president of business development and mergers and acquisitions.

Furman will be responsible for North American development and will continue to support transmission and public policy efforts. He will oversee all development activities relating to the wind business as well as transmission rights, and continue to lead relationship management with government, regulators and organized markets. Raviv will report to Furman and oversee organic renewable business development while continuing to manage the renewable mergers and acquisition activities in North America.

Furman has served as a senior vice president at PPM Energy and previously served in various capacities at PacifiCorp, most recently as senior vice president of regulation and external affairs.

Raviv joined Iberdrola as vice president in 2007. Prior to Iberdrola, he was a 10-year veteran of Ormat, a geothermal energy company, where he led growth activities in the U.S.
