Teaneck, N.J.-based Hudson Clean Energy Partners has appointed three members to its Portland, Ore.-based portfolio company, Element Power. Ty Daul, Raimund Grube and Chris Taylor have been named CEO, chief operating officer and chief development officer, respectively.
Daul, an 18-year veteran in the energy industry with over 10 years in renewables, previously led PPM Energy's North American development operations, overseeing the installation of over 2 GW of wind capacity and the creation of a 22 GW development pipeline.
While at PPM, Daul worked closely with Grube, a 10-year energy industry veteran. Grube led development efforts in the Midwest and West that accounted for approximately 80% of PPM's wind asset and development portfolio, which was later acquired by Iberdrola to form the U.S. operations of Iberdrola Renovables.
Taylor, a seasoned developer for Horizon Wind Energy/EDP Renovais and one of the original members of Zilkha Renewable Energy (predecessor to Horizon), joins the Element team with over seven years of renewable development experience in the North American market.
Daul, Grube and Taylor join Element Power executives Pedro Barriuso and Mike O'Neill.
