Dallas-headquartered CoreKits plans to add a forth production line in its Dallas facility and has begun site work on its new East Coast division.
‘The wind energy segment of our business continues to grow, and we see nothing but new opportunities for the future,’ explains Ruben Garcia, president of CoreKits. "Therefore, we are gearing up for additional Wind-Blade kit capacity here in Dallas as well as building a brand new facility near Charleston, South Carolina. We can ship Wind-Blade kits from our Dallas operation, but with fuel costs escalating, it's a disservice to our East Coast clients freighting material halfway across the country.’
Garcia adds that the South Carolina plant, which is designed to both reduce customers' fuel costs and shorten lead times, is expected to be fully functional by August.
