Merritt Brown is the new director of business development at Brandon, Fla.-based Rev1 Wind, a division of Rev1 Power Services. Brown previously worked at AES Wind Generation Inc., where he was responsible for the commercial operations of a 700-turbine portfolio of wind farms in the Palm Springs, Calif., area.
His 25 years of power industry experience include waste-to-energy, large-frame industrial gas turbine combined cycle, and bio fuel start-up and commercial management accomplishments.
Merritt has expertise in recruiting, third-party operations and maintenance contracts, and power facility asset management.
