Vestas has appointed Hans Jorn Rieks as head of offshore wind. In this role, he will focus on developing strategic partnerships and offshore wind turbines.
Rieks formerly served as president of Vestas Central Europe and brings 18 years of experience to the new position. He joined the company in 1993 and has held several positions in different parts of Vestas ever since.
In announcing a major organizational restructuring earlier this month, the company eliminated the position held by Anders Soe-Jensen, who had served as president of Vestas Offshore.
