Richard J. Taggart, retired Weyerhaeuser Co. executive vice president and chief financial officer, has been elected to 3TIER's board of directors. Seattle-based 3TIER is an independent provider of wind, solar and hydro energy assessment and power forecasting worldwide.
Taggart served as executive vice president and chief financial officer from April 2003 until his retirement this June. Prior to 2003, he served as vice president for five years and was the vice president of investor relations from 1996 to 1998.
Taggart currently is a member of the board of directors of Visteon Corp., a global automotive supplier. He also serves on the foundation board of his alma mater, the University of Wyoming.
