RMT Inc., a renewable energy engineering and construction firm, has named Rod Courtney director of health and safety for its construction division. In this role, Courtney will continue to advance RMT's health and safety program through his oversight and leadership. Specifically, he will focus on streamlining health and safety processes, enhancing behavior-based safety practices and ensuring compliance with RMT's best industry practices.
Courtney brings to RMT nearly 15 years of experience working as a health and safety professional on large construction projects across the U.S. and abroad. He has managed all aspects of health and safety programs, including developing new policies and procedures, implementing training programs, and conducting incident analyses.Â
