Cleveland-based Great Lakes WIND Network, an international wind energy supply chain advisory group, has named Dale Reckman director of field services, a new position created to support the network's expanding capacity to serve the global wind industry.
Reckman will be responsible for developing the manufacturing capabilities of emerging wind energy supply chain companies through on-site profiles, coaching and referrals. He will continue to refine the network's assessment process and on-site and online tools for evaluating the wind energy-related manufacturing capabilities of firms across North America.
‘Dale's high level of expertise and leadership will enhance our efforts to foster business expansion, investment and new jobs in the global wind energy supply chain,’ says Ed Weston, director of WIRE-Net's Great Lakes WIND Network.
Reckman brings to Great Lakes WIND Network more than 25 years in operations, engineering, product development, sales, supply chain and product management.
Prior to joining Great Lakes WIND Network, Reckman was vice president of the commercial products group for Magna Machine Co., a supplier to major wind power original equipment manufacturers.
