Capital Safety, home of the DBI-SALA and PROTECTA brands of fall-protection equipment, has named Oliver Hirschfelder global wind energy director.
Hirschfelder will be responsible for growing Capital Safety's presence and global market share within the rapidly expanding wind energy industry. He will work with key customers, including manufacturers, wind farms, and construction and service firms, to provide fall-protection solutions and services for employees who work at heights.
Hirschfelder comes to Capital Safety from Hailo LLC, where he served as CEO and president. He was responsible for the company's entrance into the North American market.
