Nova Scotia Power has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Shear Wind Inc. for a 30-turbine, 60 MW wind farm in Pictou and Antigonish counties.
‘This project is part of Nova Scotia Power's commitment to cleaner and greener power generation,’ says Ralph Tedesco, president and CEO of Nova Scotia Power. ‘It's part of our strategy to supply more clean, renewable energy for Nova Scotians. These partnerships will also help control future energy costs in our province.’
