Nordic Windpower has appointed Jeff Brown CEO and director. A renewable energy leader with nearly 30 years of experience at GE, Brown had been chief operating officer of Nordic Windpower since 2008. He succeeds Tom Carbone, CEO since March 2009, who will resume the independent product and development activities he managed prior to joining the company.
Most recently, Brown was region general manager for contractual services at GE Energy, with responsibility for long-term service contracts to maintain heavy gas and steam turbines in the power industry.
At GE Energy, Brown also held the positions of general manager, customer quality and new product introduction manager. He began his career in the manufacturing management program at GE Locomotive.
