Nabil Farah has been promoted to practice leader for Stantec's power practice group. Previously serving as a senior project manager at the company's Portland, Ore., office, Farah brings more than 30 years' industry experience to this role with a diverse scope of project work including local and international semiconductor manufacturing facilities, nuclear power plants design, water desalination and treatment facilities, power substations, high-voltage transmission line and hydroelectric power plants.
As practice leader, Farah will oversee the strategic growth and overall client management for the practice in the company's Pacific Northwest region.
Farah has represented numerous design, manufacturing and construction companies throughout the world in providing business development support, establishing business financial objectives, establishing a marketing plan and developing site concepts, according to Stantec. Throughout his career at Stantec, he has managed the design and construction of more than 15 wind projects throughout the U.S.
