Diarmaid Mulholland has been appointed general manager of GE's global wind services. He reports directly to Victor Abate, GE's vice president of renewable energy and the current president of the American Wind Energy Association.
In this newly created role, Diarmaid will be responsible for developing and implementing GE's wind services strategy globally, including field services, parts, service product management, operations and maintenance, and new service product introduction.
Diarmaid first joined GE in 1993 as a member of the company's field engineering program. He has held a variety of service roles in the U.S., Asia and Europe. Most recently, Diarmaid served in Milan, Italy, as region general manager of Western Europe for GE Energy Services.
