Midwest Wind Energy LLC (MWE), a Chicago-based developer of utility-scale wind farms, says it has promoted Thomas G. Swierczewski, who has served as a senior project developer for the past one and a half years, to director of development. He will be responsible for managing MWE's project development portfolio and the activities of development staff.
Swierczewski joined MWE in 2006 and has contributed significantly to the successful completion of major projects, including Broken Bow, an 80 MW wind farm located in Custer County, Neb., which will begin construction later this fall. He also has been responsible for developing several projects in Wisconsin and Illinois.
