Ecotech Institute, a college focused entirely on preparing the U.S. workforce for careers in renewable energy and sustainable design, has announced that Michael Seifert will serve as the school's president.
Seifert is an education industry veteran who has more than 25 years of education management experience. Before joining Ecotech Institute, he was president of Kaplan College in San Diego.
Ecotech Institute, which is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, is launching several degree programs and one certificate program, which provides graduates with skills to work in the renewable energy field. These degrees include associates of applied science in renewable energy technology and wind energy technology.
