Science and engineering consulting firm Kleinfelder says that Michael Kesler has been appointed the company's new chief operating officer (COO). Kesler brings more than 24 years of experience in operations management, team leadership and market development, with an emphasis on energy.
Kesler will oversee operations for all of Kleinfelder's markets, including water, energy and transportation, as well as targeted segments of the major commercial, industrial, governmental and institutional markets. Specifically, Kesler will focus on executing a market strategy.
Kesler has spent 14 years with Kleinfelder, holding a diverse set of technical, operational and market-development roles. Prior to joining Kleinfelder, he spent three years as a consultant and construction manager to the petroleum industry. He also spent seven years as a Naval submarine officer.
