Previously, Cantwell was a member of Chadbourne's project finance group and worked for the firm in Asia for five years. In Los Angeles, she is expected to work mainly on renewable energy projects.
In her first position at Chadbourne, Cantwell specialized in representing developers, lenders and investors in power and other infrastructure projects in Asia. She worked on a large number of such projects in China, India, Pakistan and the Philippines.
Prior to working at Chadbourne, Cantwell was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster, where she was responsible for negotiating, drafting and analyzing documentation for private financings and corporate transactions.
