Gary Kanaby has joined the Molded Fiber Glass Cos. (MFG) in the newly created capacity of director of sales for wind energy. He will assume responsibility for growing sales for the company's Wind Energy Services Co., based in Gainesville, Texas, as well as for MFG's composite blade manufacturing entities in North America.
For the last decade, Kanaby has been involved in the wind blade manufacturing and service business, most recently as an independent consultant, and from 2002-2010 with Knight & Carver Wind Group, where he led the creation of the wind blade division and successfully drove revenue growth to $18 million.
Kanaby currently serves on three American Wind Energy Association Committees: operations and maintenance, research and development, and public affairs.
