BluEarth Renewables Inc., a developer and operator of wind, solar and run-of-river hydro projects in North America, has appointed Grant Arnold vice president of business development.
Arnold is a civil engineer with an MBA and 18 years of commercial and technical experience in energy and infrastructure development, operations, and management. He has spent the last 10 years in the renewable energy and natural-gas business units at a major energy company. His most recent role there was as director of wind project development and operations, where he led a team responsible for the company's wind portfolio across Canada.
In his new role, Arnold will focus on the acquisition of renewable power projects, partnerships and companies that are a fit with BluEarth's strategic goals and growth strategy.
