John McLane has been appointed president of GCube Insurance Services Inc., a global provider of insurance services for the renewable energy sector. He brings over 30 years of operating experience to all facets of insurance and risk financing programs for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining GCube, McLane worked with two regional brokerage firms focused on companies in the renewable energy and clean technology sectors. Previously, he was the power and utility practice leader at Marsh.
McLane will continue to represent the company as a member of the American Council on Renewable Energy's leadership council and associate member of the Edison Electric Institute.
