Acciona Energy, a Madrid-based wind developer, has appointed Frank Gelardin to its management committee and head of its international division, reporting to Jose Manuel Entrecanales, the company's chairman and CEO.
Gelardin will be responsible for growing and managing Acciona's business worldwide, with specific emphasis on the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
A graduate of Harvard University, Gelardin has 25 years' experience at companies such as Lehman Brothers and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Most recently, Gelardin worked in Spain and Italy through his own investment banking advisory firm.
