Suzlon Wind Energy Corp. (SWECO), the North American subsidiary of Suzlon Energy Ltd., has added Derek Lim Soo as vice president of sales and marketing, with a focus on Canada in addition to supporting the rest of North America.
‘We've had good success in the USA market, but there's a lot of growth north of the border that cannot be ignored, particularly as we have just signed a contract for installation and operation of our first wind power plant there,’ said Andris Cukurs, CEO of SWECO.
Lim Soo joins SWECO from Stirling Energy Systems, a concentrated solar company, where he served as vice president of business development. He has more than 10 years of experience in the wind power industry, which includes prior work with GE.
