AREVA Wind says it has appointed Julian Brown as director of the company's offshore wind activity in the U.K.
Brown has over 10 years of experience in the wind industry and has led the development of the wind turbine blades business on the Isle of Wight. He also co-founded U.K.-based wind consultancy BVG Associates.
In this new role, Brown will focus on AREVA Wind's participation in the U.K. offshore wind market. A new AREVA Wind office will be established to support business development, project management, supply-chain development and industrialization, the company notes.
