The Townsend Corp., a service provider to the energy, industrial and defense industries based in Park City, Ind., has announced that Adam Estep has joined Kelley Electric LLC as area manager for wind energy.
In his new position, Estep will manage Kelley Electric's focused development of its wind energy capabilities, with an initial focus on tower wiring, enabling Townsend Corp. to expand its electrical service offerings to the renewable energy market.
Estep has experience installing over 250 wind turbines from multiple manufacturers. He will be responsible for supervising and training Kelley's team of wind energy technicians. This will include a rigid, continuous training program focused heavily on safety to assure that the company's team provides the safest, most reliable installation possible, with an additional emphasis on project management processes for consistency and on-time performance.
Estep has over 17 years' experience in industrial electrical work, including power generation and wind turbine commissioning.
