Wind Prospect Inc., based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, has made its suite of wind development due diligence services available to North American clients.
The company offers assistance with such tasks as risk assessment and mitigation, wind resource and energy yield, engineering, contracts, power purchase agreements and trading, consents, health and safety, leases and wayleaves, performance analysis and operations.
Keith Towse, vice president of business development, will head the due diligence and professional services portion of Wind Prospect's North American business, the company adds. Towse has been active in wind energy development in Atlantic Canada for several years, most recently as vice president of business development for a Nova Scotia-based development and financial services firm developing the largest community-based wind energy network in eastern Canada.
