Pentalum Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of the SpiDAR light detection and ranging (LIDAR) solution for resource assessment and wind turbine control, has hired Grant Qualley to act as its new general manager of the Americas. Qualley will be managing Pentalum's sales, operations and customer-support activities in the U.S., Canada and South America.
For the last six years, Qualley has played a role at Infigen Energy and E.ON Climate & Renewables, gaining experience in using wind LIDARs to identify under-performing wind turbines, provide resource assessment on potential wind farm acquisitions, and perform other related activities.
‘I'm very excited for having Grant on board,’ says Sagie Tsadka, Pentalum's CEO. ‘We're quite fortunate to have such a knowledgeable wind professional to support our growth in North America and [Latin America]. The increased number of potential customers in these areas will benefit from Grant's experience and guidance in their various needs for remote sensing.’
