s Energy Inc. has been awarded two long-term wind power service contracts (SWPS-300W) in the U.S. for a total of 158 SWT-2.3-93 wind turbines in Washington state. One contract is for 114 units at Cannon Power Group's Windy Flats and Windy Flats Extension wind energy plants. The other contract is for 44 wind turbines at Iberdrola Renewables' Klondike III wind energy plant. Additionally, Siemens entered into a service extension contract (SWPS-100B) with Summit Power for 89 units at its White Creek wind energy plant. Together, the combined service contract price of the three agreements exceeds $55 million. The SWPS-300W agreements include a limited warranty and availability guarantee in addition to specified service and maintenance for five years for the Klondike III wind energy plant and four years for the Windy Flats and Windy Flats Extension wind energy plants. Under the SWPS-100B agreement, Siemens will provide two additional years of service and maintenance to the existing five-year service agreement for the White Creek wind energy plant. SOURCE:
