Renewable NRG Systems, a designer and manufacturer of resource assessment and turbine optimization equipment, has promoted Justin Wheating, chief financial officer, to the role of president.
Wheating will be responsible for overseeing operations, providing strategic direction and leading the executive management team. Jan Blomstrann, CEO and owner, will continue to provide strategic leadership and serve as the ambassador for the company in local, national and international arenas.
‘I'm very excited about this transition,’ says Blomstrann. ‘We're quite fortunate to be able to make this change without having to go outside the company to look for someone new. Justin is a fine leader, and I truly enjoy working with him.’
Wheating joined the company in 2009. Prior to Renewable NRG Systems, Wheating was the chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Simon Pearce, and he also previously held executive positions at MacGregor Golf, Burton Snowboards and Dynastar Skis.
