The Renewable Northwest Project, a regional partner of the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), has named Varner Seaman as its policy director.
Varner, who will work to advance policies for renewable energy in the Northwest, previously worked for EDP Renewables in government and regulatory affairs.
He has also served as AWEA's Western Caucus chair and on several boards, including the Interwest Energy Alliance and Independent Energy Producers Association in California.
