OWPMS Announces Joint Venture To Build Wind Farm Support Vessels

Wind farm support vessel specialists Offshore Wind Power Marine Services (OWPMS) has partnered with the Brook Henderson Group in order to provide a bespoke package for offshore wind farm operators, focusing on vessel supply during construction, and operation and maintenance phases throughout Europe, Asia and North America.

Brook Henderson is committing equity of over 30 million British pounds to build a fleet of up to 60 vessels over the coming 24 months.

‘This partnership means we can now pick up and proceed with new and existing tender opportunities as a preferred supplier to the utilities and develop new markets outside of Europe,’ says Eddie Ward, co-founder of OWPMS.

OWPMS, whose clients include RWE Npower, Dong Energy, Vattenfall and Siemens Wind Power, owns and operates a fleet of purpose built wind farm support vessels.
