In January, APS issued a formal solicitation for new wind power generated from utility-scale facilities between 15 MW and 100 MW, located entirely within the borders of Arizona.
Successful bidders are expected to contract with APS under long-term power purchase contracts and/or turnkey build-and-transfer arrangements.
