Moog Industrial Group says it will provide 400 electric pitch control systems for Sewind Co.'s 2 MW wind turbines beginning in January 2011.
Sewind, a joint venture of the Shanghai Electric Group Co. Ltd. and China Huadian Engineering Co. Ltd., designs, manufactures and sells utility-scale wind turbines.
Moog's blade pitch control system monitors and adjusts the inclination angle of the rotor blades and controls the rotation speed of the blades.
