The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has ruled in favor of a wind farm developer after a six-year battle over wetland permitting, the Berkshire Eagle reports.
Hoosac Wind, which is proposed by New England Wind LLC and owned by Iberdrola Renewables, is a $45 million, 30 MW project proposed to be built on Bakke Mountain in Florida, Mass.
The court found that the state Department of Environmental commissioner's decision to approve the project in 2007 was supported by enough evidence.
