Marnie Dawson has been named manager of environmental services for TransAlta's environmental services group.
According to TransAlta, Dawson will focus on compliance support for the company's existing wind, hydro and gas facilities in eastern Canada, in addition to playing an active role in growth activities for new business development in eastern Canada.
Dawson's wind industry experience includes handling environmental planning and permitting tasks under Ontario's Renewable Energy Approval regulation and Feed-In Tariff programs.
