Minneapolis-based Westwood Professional Services Inc., a national land and energy development consultant, has announced that Eric Hansen has joined its environmental services group as a senior environmental engineer. He will work with Westwood's energy team to assist in the development and management of the company's regional and national electric transmission business. He will be responsible for client and project management regarding siting strategies, route permits, construction monitoring, and post-construction activities.
Hansen is a professional engineer and professional geologist with registrations in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin. Over the past 10 years, he has worked in the areas of wind project development and construction, brownfield redevelopment, geotechnical engineering and property-transfer due diligence.
