Gamesa Innovation & Technology SL and GL Renewables Certification (GL) have signed a certification framework contract. The contract includes confidentiality agreements and project planning related to the scheduling of resources and communications due to upcoming certification projects.
For innovative products and components that are not covered by standard certification procedures, the framework contract introduces the design-accompanied assessment, which is characterized by an intense dialogue between the designer, manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that design and calculation procedure requirements are defined at an early stage, according to GL.
The framework agreement will enhance the cooperation between Gamesa and GL and will meet the needs of an expanding international wind engineering market, according to the companies.
