Gamesa has obtained an Occupational Health and Safety Management System accreditation from the Spanish Standardization and Certification Association (AENOR) certifying that it complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001 international standard.

The AENOR accreditation includes Gamesa headquarters offices worldwide and the company's more than 30 manufacturing centers in Europe, the U.S. and Asia.Â

The AENOR seal certifies that Gamesa has implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System to help prevent workplace accidents, and that the company is committed to ongoing improvement in this area. The scope of the certification encompasses the design, manufacture, assembly, on-site installation, start-up and post-sale service for wind turbines and their components.

The AENOR certification is based on the OHSAS 18001 international standard, which helps to reduce workplace accidents and boost productivity, assists the company in complying with legislation governing accident prevention and encourages a culture of prevention by incorporating safety awareness into the company's overall operational system.
