Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) has promoted Paul Buckovich to chief financial officer (CFO) following the completion of the most recent in a series of successful project financing efforts. Formerly, he was CPV's senior vice president of finance.
Buckovich has been with CPV for more than 13 years and has recently completed debt financing efforts for several company projects. The financings represent a total of more than 2.4 GW and in excess of $2.3 billion in project financing, the company notes.
According to the company's website, CPV Renewable Energy Company is developing more than 550 MWs of wind power projects, with 200 MW more in construction and another 150 MW in operations across North America.
