CG Automation – a provider of utility automation products and systems to the electric utility and renewable energy industries and a wholly owned subsidiary of MSE Power Systems Inc. – has acquired wind supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and wind turbine monitoring systems technology from Somerville, Mass.-based Second Wind Systems Inc.
With this partnership, the companies say they are able to offer improved interconnection systems that are essential for smart grid solutions and broaden their services to the renewable energy market.
