Buckley, Elko Join Noble Environmental Power

Noble Environmental Power, an Essex, Conn.-based renewable energy company, has hired Mark Buckley as assistant project manager to support construction projects and aid in the development of future projects. Buckley brings 22 years of experience in the mining industry to his new position. His primary responsibilities at Noble will include lending assistance to all aspects of managing the construction of the Noble Clint and Ellenburg windparks. Buckley holds a bachelor of science degree in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University.

In addition, Noble recently welcomed Greg Elko as a development manager based out of the company's Bliss, N.Y., office. In his new role, Elko will be responsible for meeting with landowners, attending town meetings and coordinating development efforts for Noble's projects in western New York.

Elko holds a bachelor of arts degree in exercise science from McDaniel College. He was an engineer officer in the U.S. Army for four years and completed a one-year service in Iraq.
