Broadwind Energy Inc. has opened an office in Hamburg, Germany, and named Michael Stegelmann managing director of Broadwind Energy Europe GmbH.
‘Many turbine manufacturers have engineering offices in the Hamburg area, and this new office will enable us to keep pace with rapidly evolving wind turbine technology,’ says Lars Moller, president of technology and international at Broadwind.
Stegelmann joins Broadwind from REpower Systems AG, where he most recently served as senior vice president of the global supply chain.
