Chicago-based Wind Source Group, an international consulting and services group focusing on the supply chain, has appointed Mads Mikkelsen chief operating officer.
Wind Source Group partners with international suppliers as a way to bridge the entry into the North American wind industry. The company's founders have more than 40 years of combined wind industry service, manufacturing, and sales and marketing experience, as well as with experience in global business development.
In other company news, wind energy manufacturing executive Steffen Hersboll has joined Wind Source Group as chief technology officer, and wind industry veteran Lars Moller has joined the company as its board chairman.
