Wind Capital Group Names New Vice President

St. Louis-based Wind Capital Group (WCG) has named Ciaran O'Brien executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for the company. O'Brien is the former CFO at Airtricity.

O'Brien brings 20 years of energy and project finance experience to WCG. Prior to joining WCG, O'Brien worked with Airtricity for seven years in both Europe and the U.S. O'Brien will work from WCG's Chicago office.


As CFO of Airtricity, O'Brien was one of the founders of its North American business unit. During O'Brien's seven years at Airtricity, he successfully led over $2 billion of equity and debt fundraisings. Prior to his tenure at Airtricity, he worked with Anglo American PLC in the base metals division and with Deloitte in Ireland.
